About Us
Solar Entertainments provide our clients with truly professional mobile Disco, Karaoke and Wedding DJ hire services. We provide a personal, reliable, professional service from start to finish and always work closely with our customers to ensure their complete satisfaction.
We use high quality equipment, lighting and sound systems and provide extensive music and karaoke tracks for all popular genres of music from the 50s to present day. We are more than happy to tailor our service for theme nights, children's parties, specific play lists and so on.
We are based in Eckington, Sheffield and provide our Mobile Karaoke, Disco and Wedding DJ services to all areas shown on our Coverage page.
For Karaoke events, we aim to remove the 'tacky' image often associated with Karaoke and ensure that our events are enjoyed by serious singers as well as those simply seeking a little fun. We use professional backing tracks, high quality equipment and sound system, professionally setup by an experienced host for every singer. We also use foldback speakers for our singers when required.

Who Are We?
Solar Entertainments is owned and run by Dave Cocker, a very experienced Karaoke host and DJ having worked for other Karaoke and Disco companies for many years before setting up Solar Entertainments. Dave also has fifteen years experience working in high profile, well known organisations where service and professionalism are second to none, so you can expect an outstanding, professional service from us.
